About: Erin Crumpacker

Erin Crumpacker quickly learned that a unique last name and plenty of social media activity will easily place one pages deep when “Googled.” Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Erin holds degrees in Journalism and Communication from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. Her career began in public relations where she co-created Jack + Bill, a pop-up fashion PR agency providing free representation to New York fashion talent, gaining media attention in the New York Times, USWeekly and New York Magazine. In January, she left six years of agency life to pursue filmmaking. She’s currently an associate producer of Pretty Old, a documentary following senior women competing in the Ms. Senior Sweetheart beauty pageant. At Briefly Noted, Erin chronicles her downtown life and love of culture in the city. She’s addicted to Tumblr, Twitter and Foursquare, frequents UCB comedy shows, and has been known to make background appearances in fiercely funny CollegeHumor Web videos.
